Grace Hivnor is in her fifteenth year of teaching middle distance track to Houston youth. While she has helped many boys and girls achieve medals in local, regional, and national competitions; she has done so with a classical, technique-based, low-miles approach that emphasizes coordinated motion to prevent injury.
Grace designed this training method for time-constrained students like her son, whom she homeschooled using an academically accredited program until eighth grade. Subsequently, she remained his track coach and also successfully coached other middle and high school athletes.
In reducing the excessive running required by conventional training strategies, Grace's method helps students focus on making every step count.
